“2019 – A YEAR OF POWER”
“Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy Power, in the beauty of Holiness from the womb of the morning, thou hast the dew of thy youth” (Psalm 110:3)
I welcome you to 2019, a year of Power- Sickness , Diseases, Selfishness, Luke warmness, Poverty, Lack, indifference, whatever the situation, a day of God’s Power will change everything.
What you need this year 2019, is the power of God- the ability, strength, energy , might, dominion to make a difference to change situation. Power is not power until it makes a difference. You can talk about the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues and your life does not change, it is just a talk. God said to darkness, let there be light, Jesus looked at a death and said let there be life, Jesus looked at the storm and said PEACE BE STILL. Jesus looked at the leper and said be clean, Jesus told the blind man go and wash in the pool of Siloam and it came back with perfect sight.
Without power nothing will happen even if you pray for one million years, one day of God’s visitation, revelation and manifestation will cause the heart to do willingly what he has done grudgingly, you will pray, sing, fast , give , attend church and read the bible willingly. You will differentiate grace from sins, you will understand grace to be what made Joseph to run away from Potiphar’s wife, saying can l do this and sin against God Gen. 39:7-9 and that Grace is not what made Samson to sleep with Delilah a prostitute which led to his suffering and shameless untimely death. Judges 16:1-20.
God is a God of Power, might, dominion, he can bring rivers out of a rock, divide the Red Sea, he can cause the sun and the moon to stand still, he can calm the raging storm with a word, burn cancer out of a body, open blind eyes, deliver the drug addict and the alcoholic, restore broken marriages etc.
Col.1:13 ”… delivered us from the power of darkness….
Mathew 28:18-19, All power is giving to me … this means that power is our divine heritage. Romans 5:18 …righteousness has come upon all men … 2nd Cor.5:21 made him to be sin who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God therefore know the following that:
- Jesus secured the power for us. , when you have Jesus you have the power, God is power and Power is God
- You have power to stand against Satan Ephesians 4:23, Ephesians 6:10-17 Put on the whole armour of God. James 4:7 Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. Hebrews 2:14 to destroy Satan
- We are seated with Him in heavenly places far above all principalities … Ephesians 1:20
- We have the power of God’s word to exercise our authority Mark 4:35-40, Jesus rebuke the sea. Take the word of God, Take the name of Jesus and the Power of the Holy Spirit and run Satan out of your life.
- We have the power to act as new creations.
- We have authority to preach the gospel. Go ye Mark 16:15-18
- We can minister and walk from a point of authority – God’s power are in His word, he is upholding all things by the word of His power, be thou made whole, take up your bed and walk, to recapture the authority Satan has stolen 1st Peter 1:23 … being born again Acts 12;24 ..but the word of God grew and multiply Eph 4:21-24 . That ye put on the new man…created in righteousness and true holiness etc.
